Mechanism of Action
How LIPO C Works
LIPO C is a lipotropic injection combining methionine, inositol, choline, and B-vitamin cofactors. These nutrients act synergistically to support hepatic fat metabolism: choline enables VLDL packaging for fat export from the liver, inositol acts as a secondary messenger for insulin signaling and lipid transport, and methionine serves as a methyl donor essential for phosphatidylcholine synthesis.
- Choline β betaine β phosphatidylcholine synthesis
- Essential for VLDL particle assembly
- Prevents hepatic steatosis from fat accumulation
- Second messenger in insulin signaling cascade
- Enhances insulin-mediated lipid handling
- Supports ovarian function and PCOS-related metabolism
- Methionine β SAMe methyl donor
- Essential for phosphatidylcholine synthesis via PEMT
- Supports glutathione production for liver detoxification
Choline is converted to phosphatidylcholine, the essential phospholipid coating for VLDL particles. Without adequate choline, the liver cannot package triglycerides into VLDL for export β leading to hepatic fat accumulation. Methionine supports this as a methyl donor via SAMe, and inositol enhances insulin-mediated lipid handling.
